Practical Innovation

I recently developed a new fastening concept and was awarded a patent. While the product itself is only one part of the story, the process reflects the way I approach engineering. I enjoy looking closely at how things are designed and used, identifying opportunities to improve them, and then working through the details to turn an idea into something practical.

For me, innovation is often found in that process. It comes from curiosity, hands-on problem solving, and a willingness to explore whether there is a better way to do something. Developing this concept has been a rewarding opportunity to apply those principles, and it is the same approach I bring to my consulting work with clients and their engineering challenges.
